Stones glow with a warm light which is coming from the inside. It slowly fades in and fades away. Stones produce a sound of quiet and peaceful snoring. The installation is based on both: the ancient Hindu proverb: “God sleeps in stone, breathes in plants, dreams in animals and awakens in man” and an expression taken from the New Testament, quote of Christ, who predicted the fall of Jerusalem: “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”Инсталляция Holy Aura представляет из себя четыре булыжника, аккуратно помещенных один на другой таким образом, что напоминают объект религиозного почитания или некий условный тотем. Камни издают мягкий свет, идущий изнутри, он плавно загорается и потухает. Помимо света камни издают типичный и негромкий храп. В основе сюжета инсталляции лежат древняя индуистская пословица: "Бог спит в камне а пробуждается в человеке" и выражение взятое из Евангелия, связанное с преданием о Христе, который предсказал гибель Иерусалима: «Истинно говорю вам: не останется здесь и камня на камне - всё будет разрушено». <img src="http://payload113.cargocollective.com/1/1/34625/4573780/4_o.jpg" width="440px"/> Within this intersection of meanings enclosed the irreconcilable conflict between Eastern and Western cultural and spiritual traditions. On the West side there is a highly relevant to the present day prophecy of the apocalypse, connected with the typical in Western religious tradition the notion of "God's punishment", the one that has befallen the inhabitants of Jerusalem for the decline of morals and the unjust rule of insignificant men. According to the biblical doctrine the sin is a pain and a punishment in itself and would inevitably lead to the death of man. However the Hindu philosophy, provides an elegant philosophical system that deals with this issue, claiming that the pain is maya, or illusion, and doesn't exist in the actual reality.В этом сочетании заложен непримиримый конфликта пересечения восточных и западных культурных и духовных традиций. Со стороны запада - крайне актуальное для наших дней, пророчество апокалипсиса неразрывно связанного с типичным для западной религиозной традиции понятием "кары божьей" постигшей жителей Иерусалима за упадок нравов, наряду с неправедным господством ничтожных людей. "How long is now" - the question unanswered in the form of graffiti on the wall of the legendary Berlin squat Tacheles, which became a symbol of independent Berlin of the '90s. But how to get an answer to this question and go further to the understanding of ongoing existence? The main line of my exhibition was an artistic answer to that is to stop focusing on the moment of "now" and approve its permanent presence. Hope and romantic urge ,contained in the actual approval of the "now is right now", - is a confident voice of a generation that can be witnessed in the "Taiga",the liveliest self-initiated, non-institutional open cultural project space of St. Petersburg.  After the exhibition ended, the site-specific neon installation "Now is just right now", like a lighthouse that indicates new horizons, remained in the backyard of "Taiga" space contributing to the formation of a new self-identity of St. Petersburg art scene in a global context. "How long is now" – вопрос, оставшийся без ответа в виде граффити на стене легендарного берлинского сквота Тахелес, ставшего символом свободного Берлина 90-ых. Темой всей выставки стал волнующий меня вопрос: как перейти к пониманию постоянной бытийности? Нужно перестать фокусироваться на моменте «сейчас» и утвердить его постоянное присутствие. Надежда и романтический позыв, содержащиеся в фактическом утверждении «сейчас – это прямо сейчас», – это смелый голос поколения действия, звучащий из «Тайги», самого живого на данный момент самоинициированного творческого пространства Петербурга, имеющего независимый внеинституциональный характер.
